PHOTO FAVE OF THE DAY

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND MY CONTROL, CHRISTMAS IS OVER. HOWEVER, HERE IS MY HOLIDAY PICTURE ANYWAY. PLEASE REFER TO THE QUOTE BY THE BRILLIANT PHILOSOPHER, LOU COSTELLO WHO SAID,
"AND I DON'T GIVE A ****."

Did you know that luminaries (at least on the north american continent) are a tradition originated in Mexico...and that they are rooted in an asian tradition (of hanging colorful lanterns on tress?) All to light the way for the holiday naciemento (or nativity scene.) Ah, what you learn when you work(ed) at Tohono Chul Park.....
